Can a senator change his opinion on something in Senate Phase after he has already done voting?
Only if i haven't seen your vote. I count the votes within a minute of seeing them.

You can get concessions which are bribes given to you by a consul, you can be bribed by other players to vote X way, you can get funded by fellow faction members, or you can get a share of taxes if you are elected governor. But other than that: no..

The senate decides if an army is needed, then it decides where it needs to go, and then it decides who will lead it. Once the task is completed the commander has to return the troops back to the senate and loses his title of commander.

Who propose dictators?
Consuls
How long is the term of a consul?
"2 senate phases" in other words 1 turn.
Who propose new consuls?
The dictator if there is one, if there is no dictator then the consuls propose the new consuls.
This is the chain of command:
1.- Dictator (If there is one)
2.- Roman Consul [Example: Darth]
3.- Field Consul [Example: Ghost]
4.- Censor
5.- Master of the horse
6.- Pontifex Maximus
7.- Senator

5.- Master of the horse
6.- Pontifex Maximus
1. What is the role of Master of the horse and Pontifex Maximus?
2. Can the term of the consul be little longer? Maybe 4 or 5 turns? Since one turn last like a year.
3. Also, maybe if a dictator is proposed and voted, then he can have unlimited term until senators propose and vote to take his power away (promotion-demotion).
4. We need to establish naval superiority & control before moving in our legions right? That mean we cannot land in Africa and invade Carthage before we destroy their navy?

1. What is the role of Master of the horse and Pontifex Maximus?
The MoH is the dictators right hand and bodyguard, while the Pontifex Maximus is a honorary title.
2. Can the term of the consul be little longer? Maybe 4 or 5 turns? Since one turn last like a year.
No, if the title lasts longer it would be impossible for other people to hold office.
3. Also, maybe if a dictator is proposed and voted, then he can have unlimited term until senators propose and vote to take his power away (promotion-demotion).
Dictators can be re-elected if the requirements to have a dictator are meet. Senators can't propose a vote unless they use a tribune "card". Its impossible to vote a dictator out because they have veto power and dictatorial proposals can't be vetoed.
4. We need to establish naval superiority & control before moving in our legions right? That mean we cannot land in Africa and invade Carthage before we destroy their navy?
Correct, you need to destroy Carthage's navy before invading Carthage

No, if the title lasts longer it would be impossible for other people to hold office.
Maybe then we need to change rules a bit: instead '3 turns inactive and game's over' make it '3 turns inactive and your enemy takes one of your region' (closest to him) ?
It is not nice to see game end before we see the result of our policies, investment and deals/connections. We need more time!
Beside this is our first Forum Game, we can establish rules now so when we start new one we will have easier gameplay.

I actually changed it to 4 Active wars. The thing that is making you guys lose right now is that pirates have +1 unrest every turn, while your consuls have 0 popularity, allowed unrest to go up to [2/9], and waited until wars got activated which increase unrest for another +2.
In other words, you guys have 2 unrest, and it will increase to 5 at the end of the turn. Then +4 next turn.... which will result in [9/9] = game over.

How do we decrease our unrest?
By sponsoring games, proposing land-bills which reduce taxes, being victorious in a war, electing popular consuls, etc.

There is no limit in the number of legions/fleets a commander can command. But Rome can't build more than 24 each.

If you don't command enough legions for a battle, you will either die or suffer a defeat. If you win battles you get popularity and some legions may become veterans loyal to you
