After seeing how the first 5 votes of my poll about SL arrows vs HTML emphasis were all to the arrows, I though it would'be useful to make a thread with the HTML features that were better / preferred as they were in SL. Here are some of my comparison. 1. Name everywhere. What do you think about everytime you see a city, a stack, you always see your name up? I personally like when you don't - makes it looks more like "First person" game than HTML's way "3rd person" game. SL: HTML: 2. Dragging stack of troops. Being fast is important for us, the quick-gameplay players. That's why we don't have much time to spend opening the troop movement bar. We just put our cursor in the city and move it. In HTML the admins also added the 'text' to the troops, which add an useful reference for some, but an useless text for us. It is even bad displayed when the troop stack is big enough (This is a bug). But even with the bug fixed, I'd still prefer the horizontal troop stacking. How about you? SL: HTML: 3. Zoom bugs! . Being honest I will miss them because I was used to play with them a lot, but Amok had already said that they aren't coming back. Even if most of us wanted it back, admins are the ones who have the final decision in this. I just wanted to make this case before anyone else tries to do it. Being said, some of them can still be done. They're just harder to be done. Once again, don't ask for make those bugs easier, cause it won't happen. 4. My friends! Now this is a pretty controversial one. I personally like SL one, but I have to admit the HTML one have some cool things. Some things like, for example, the fact that you aren't able to see ignore / mods in contact or that the bar is at the right of the chat can be fixed, what I'm talking about is the design. SL HTML The 'Contact' bar in HTML is something new that allows you to see the players in-game and their rank, something that you can already do in the 'player' tab. But the game tab also allows you to pr them and to see, if they disconnected, how much time they have off. The whole tab also looks nicer / well-worked than the SL one. What I dislike, compared to SL is really the space it takes of the screen. I think it is too big. I also consider useless to see the rank of the player there (we have players tab for this and more information!) and to minimize it (WHY would anyone minimize this? Can be easy open & closed). What do you think about this? Is there anything you like in SL more than in HTML?

Wasn't pointing at that, however, I disagree. As it was said before they're a lot inaccurate and I, me, myself, only use it when attacking the city (this means, on very rate occasions I want to know my stack's power before hitting the city) . We should reduce as much texts as possible. This, or making an option to enable all those texts.
?????????? Yellow? It is white.... For move troops all you need to do in SL is to click on the white "]" in your troop's stack. It is also horizontal and doesn't take much space. In HTML however, as I've already said, I find the texts useless (and is pretty easy to learn an unit's symbol, even in scenarios). Just my opinion...

I though there was a logic behind the organization, and I actually like the 'system' button at the bottom because is the one that is less likely going to be disabled... I like private at the top too. Maybe I've just got accustomed to that configuration. SL: HTML:

How about the chat? The Silverlight one looks a lot better. The borders, the transparent view, and some but other things are what makes me love it more than the HTML one... Anyone else agree? SL HTML

About the "names everywhere" no support.i want it like it was in sl.Most important is dragging units.As you saw in html its more complicated than in sl.why just not put that same option in sl.i have said that before.

Totally agree with you clovis but I believe that it is more important to make the game run smoothly for everyone with no lag/bug, etc and after that take care of the design/graphics. There are other things that I think it was better in SL for example: 1- Player tab I don't think it matters if a player is premium or not, it should be like in SL where your rank symbol has your color 2- Text font I don't like the timer hope i get used to it eventually if you don't change it but I think the SL version of it was better 3- Cities You need to put the number of units right in the centre of the symbol (looks weird like this) and improve the resolution of the numbers For now that is all, when i play more games i will make a longer post with more sugestions to improve the game

I don't want to waste my time making suggestions, I just want the game that I paid cash for premium features to be as good as the game was when I paid for it. if I wanted to design a game i would make my own game. WHAT IS SO HARD TO TAKE THE SAME DESIGN AND APPLY ON HTML5?

1=clovis1122 stop buttlicking html5 sucks and ugly and what proves it is that big list of name in each city you press at that doesnt allow you to cancel move eazily or to move to closer targets and it sucks at anyway we may look at it 2=and we already got used to silverlight i could wall 50 city that have more then 1type of units in 1:30 minute now i need 2:30... 3=zoom bug wasnt really a bug it was just something allow you to prevent the bug of transport cant be removed to swap it when its out of range(most people wont understand it why?cause dumbs) and to pass by netural cities that are surronded with enemy troops such as denmark and i will reveal the fact that you cant land in uk anymore or near hamburg if your enemy spams 1unit nearby them through i still didnt test it (applys to turk that cannot rush kiev anymore if someone spam 1units and bombers at land place) 4=friend list sucks and takes half the screen it used to be nicer to notice every one with out needing to scroll for 20second searching for the name .... 5=didnt see the contect button at all so cant say anything about it stop buttlicking clovis you became so fking annoying you dont say truths anymore just a buttlicker and feel free to let me typ a page about the shits of html5 compared with SL

I don't care too much about how the game looks but the sending private messages is weird and gets annoying both on pc and phone. I would just like to keep the hover to see the players little info box for pc version if thats possible and then think of something else for phone. Second thing is you can't hover over your stack on phone which means for example that you HAVE to dock your transporter to take your units out

I don't know if its been mentioned but in SL I could stretch a Transport of troops right by the coast without docking a drag the stack onto the shore with no trouble. In HTML it won't let me.

Old design don't work for there coveted phone market. They need to keep these things separate as they are suiciding there game. Make a finished browser version. The port it to phones and edit the version to work for phone. Do not make browser players use phone features and vice versa.

This is why images should'be limited in HTML.... I am a fast clicker and I often end-up dragging the wrong thing. Wanted to drag my stack, end up dragging my profile link. Wanted to drag cossacks, end up dragging their image.

Every single time you join a game in sl it was set to game chat... now I keep saying bs things in clan chat because it isn't pre set to game chat and I have to repeat these comments in game chat, making me feel even more stupid.... also plz have room chat auto disabled in games, chat looks ugly and is inconsistent and full of spam too now.

It's full of bugs, hard to move units and sometimes moves don't even go through. Would be Suprised if many people think this is worth $20 for premium, let alone the full price.
