Recently, I have notice that there is just too many ranks 9-10 that I have never seen before, most of them play like shit, while I nearly don't play atwar anymore.

At this rate, this new high ranks will outrank me within the next 3 months.

Is this good because ranks aren't gonna be a excuse to remake a cw/ww2? Or is this bad because it shows how much sp shitty maps like RP can generate?

Plz leave your opinion about this problem.

How can players be rank 10 in less than 4 months and not having premium (missing all the gold and crimson medals!!!)?

Outrank you in 3 months? Give it some weeks; max. 3 weeks! Huehuehue...

There is over 200 ranks 9, at the rate this people level up, 3 months is enough to become rank 10.

Playing RP, I can generate over 20k a day, but what's the point? Eventually somebody will out-rank me.
Something seriously has to be done about the amount of SP that custom maps generate.

Who cares what rank other players are? That doesn't change their skill level. You can be proud that you got to a high rank through hard work and learning the game and can now crush these high ranked noobs. Also, most of you will never run into these people anyways, because if all they play is RP while they are low rank they won't stop when they reach high rank.

I am also noticing some more high ranks that ranked up from RP/Senario's but there aren't that many in my opinion. I've seen a few try their luck in a 3v3 and get absolutely crushed by lowers ranks. Kinda funny actually.

As for whether it's a bad thing or not, I don't really think it is either of them. Rank just means how much SP people have generated. People can SP farm all they want but it won't increase their skill. To me it's just some narb with a fancier crest. We'll always know who the skilled players are and how to spot them so it doesn't really make much of a difference to me.

I worked my way to R9 btw...

Ranks don't mean skill. It means players are more or less experienced in the game nothing else. And that goes unfortunately for all rank high ranks (r9+) even older players who like to think that they might be better than high ranks who spamed sp from RP and UN maps and became r9+.

The people who rank up fast on sp from rp just end up looking like useless high ranks, with only a perceived advantage. This would all be well, except:

These high ranks eschew 3v3s and even some scenarios such as WW2. Some don't play world maps in anything but 50k, or even play world maps at all. This is because they often feel fundamentally embarrassed from encounters with lower ranked players that are vastly superior. They then discourage other players from doing the same, and randomly shout rp is better all the time. As most new players try all game types, they will discover rp that has advocates of playing it and as everyone is as bad as they are and alliances are 20, so allyfagging is possible. Then they encounter competitive play where most players are actively hostile towards low ranks, and kick and insult without explanation, and the actual gameplay is much more challenging. Which do you expect them to choose?

The high ranks in rp send the wrong message: it's just so much easier to do this and look impressive. Low ranks rarely realise that higher ranks vary significantly in capabilities, and encounters with the more powerful are used naturally as the benchmark of what to expect. The easiest way is always the most attractive. And we wonder why people flock to rp.

There must be more clans like illyfication and train those low ranks..if they train them then those low ranks wil discover that a 3v3 is more skillfull than one RP.

I agree. A large part of this constitutes to the pressure and hostility received in the 3v3's.

The vast majority of 3v3 players have learned on their own or sought help and took the initiative to learn themselves first. Hence, it's frustrating when low ranks or fake high ranks screw 3v3's. They're either kicked, laughed at, or both, which really doesn't help but what do you expect? Most players of the 3v3 community was probably kicked/scorned/ridiculed at some point in their history.

That's exactly what i do, I'm not very good in 3v3s but I ask how to get better etc.. I'm ok i suppose but not as near as good as the competitive 3v3 players. I think it's really not about the elitist 3v3 community, and tbh when i failed they didn't really ridicule me.

That is why the 3v3 community will stay forever small compared to the RP/UN/Senarios(some not all). It's much easier to play RP and win through allywhoring and "feeling" like a winner than actually go through the hardships/challenges and actually win games based on skill.

Simply put, RP, UN...etc. games are much easier to play and gives people an easier win than competitive 3v3's.

Bad because for those people who still rely on ranks to determine ww2 picks or cws it ruins the system, if an unknown rank 9 joins ww2 he might be amazing or he might not know how to wall and we don't really know. I wish ww2 could just be a group of people who all know eachother but that doesn't fill anymore 99% of the time.
