I still don't see how anyone can claim it's unfair, when they 100% have a chance to stop it (by taking one of those countries), because turns alternate..

I think Ukr and Turk can be unfair (even though Kaliraa is correct) but frankly, I dont feel that UK-Germ combo is OP. Spain or farnce just takes all of italy turn 1 and hits balkans hard and then the other can decide to hit ireland or belgium/ netherlands.

Easy fix, enemy goes ukr your turn to pick you go turk, regardless if your bad as turk or not, a player should learn to play all countries after all shouldn't they?

unless of course you think it's better to let the enemy get turk and your team get a different combo, in my opinion if the enemy chooses ukr then you choose Uk you can't just expect that to mean that the other team won't go for turk if you can get the best combination of country picks then try get them it's simple as that

these people who complain about ukr turk or germ uk are usually those who are unable to play more then 1 country and just expect the other team not to combo it's pathetic, but this is all only a noobs opinion

It's totally fair if you let it happen (since you had a chance to stop it since you take turns choosing countries), as i said before in my previous comment you get turns to choose countries so if your 1st person to pick and don't go turk or ukr and the other team gets both its your own fault and its best to play it out, i've given up counting the countless times i've played 3v3 only to have people bitch about a Germany UK combo and the occasional turk ukr combo, if you let it happen you should have to wear the consequences that follow

people shouldn't just learn and just play 1 country you gotta learn them all so that if your in a position where you must go turk or urk your able to do so

Uk/germany and turk/ukraine were always counted as regular picks, ofc it was not that much as the standard turk vs ukraine and germ vs uk picks, but the people didn't complain about it.
I have no clue why people suddenly started to bicker about it.. i guess it has something to do with the whole new playstyle the new generation plays with.
Its legal picks, and i find it quiet lame that you get kick or CW gets canceled when you pick one of those combo's....

Hmm, you can't prove if it was disconnection or on purpose, same goes for the missing first turn in clanwar, some people just fail expanding and DC and then say they had lagg.
That would be an endless discussion.

Bleh its not the combo its the players that get the combo and every combo can be countered

Thats actually what I am saying the whole time.
Look this is a example off it:

Uk started to pick, then Jherinimo took turkey, I took germany and zone started saying why I picked germany, after I said ''Why not?, uk/germany is normal pick, so are ukraine/turkey'' He said: ''haha troll''
This is what is wrong with it, not the pros and the cons off ukraine/turkey & germany/uk combo.
90% of the people dont even give it a try, but insta disconnect or kick the player

The more formulaic play gets, the less actual thinking is needed. And it seems those who decided it was op are just those who are too afraid of a potential loss to give beating it a go. Therefore I really don't mind these so called "combos".

Ukr/turk though is too powerful, i would never play against it unless i was in a troll mood. If you understood the capabilities of a competently played ukr/turk you wouldnt either.

to all you daring pros, i challenge you to beat a combo of me/acqui/pont in ukr/turk with any of the other illyrians elsewhere. Some free farm, i'll tip my hat to you if you can find a way to win. Mou and clovis can demonstrate their uk/germ/volga which they assert "smashes ukr/turk" combo.

But gameplay should never become formulaic or require no thinking no matter what picks you play, after turn 1 your gameplay should be completely reactive. especially given how much 3v3s on europe have evolved into a metagame due to clans like mk and stalins.

this whole forums is mainly agreeing that they are extremely strong, but the thing is THEY CAN BE STOPPED by just having someone go ukr or turk or UK or germany they aren't hard to avoid having to fight against, and that's what most people are saying, that if you choose to for example not stop it then you run the risk of having to go up against it, i maybe still noob but isn't the main goal in picking to get the best country combination you can while stopping the enemy getting a strong one kinda like a strange game of tick tack toe?

this works same for newer clans and older clans, a lotta players are very specialised and great with one country and maybe average or just not as good with another, so they choose their best country even tho in doing so the other clan maybe then able to get a combo but if that other clan did they would be called noob ect for taking a valid pick? for example team 1 chooses UK team 2 has a player great with spain so he takes it, then team 1 is expected not to take germany even tho it's a logical choice? i maybe noob but that just makes no sense at all to me

Loooooooool. I have played PLENTIES of games with uk-germany/ukr-turk. Yes, not all were win or loses. They were variable. But bro, even if i play 100x vs ukr-turk combo and I lose, doesnt mean they are to OP.. means I played crapy, if as you say, whooped SM's uk-germany combo, it doesn't mean its unable to do it..

And its funny that you and lao are talking about this when you guys joined this game after the people like you complained about the combo.
Yes we al know germany and uk are way more stronger than spain/france still france/spain have a pretty good chance vs them...

chance from 0-49% being bad,way bad,pretty bad,slightly bad etc
chance from 50-50% being fair,medium,equal
chance from 51-100% being good,way good,pretty good,ugly good and etc

therefore by your own claim that uk/germ are stronger that france/spain, chances cannot be pretty good, under any circumstances.Correct it

Also, lao, I have played/seen/whatevermore ukr/turk/uk/ger combos, you only have heard most of how it used to be in the old times. I speak from the experience I have gained within the past years with different kind of people. Thats is what I am speaking of, if you want to believe your story like I have said before go ahead.
I am not saying the thing I say is the truth, but this is what I have seen in my own eyes, so any words of you cant change that.

Also, yes I am freaked out, mostly pissed about it, since that bigwall thread, why? You dont enjoy getting wrecked thats why you call those combos ''op'' those combos have been here since the beginning of the game, and those combo's went through different generations but it seems like the generation of you and lao, i think mostly only you and lao seems to complain about those things.
