It's only dumb because you live in a box with blinders on to protect your version of reality, the one your comfortable with. But you have a right to an opinion I geuss same as myself. I don't think anything can fix humanity, we are easily corruptable, and we usually always do the wrong thing, I do believe through selective breeding of better genes we can lower said corruption to a more manageable level though. I do understand this notion I bring is radical, but humanity is at its best when it is pioneering ways to better itself. We used to burn people alive for thinking the earth was round. Was that not radical at one time in our history?

3. No one was burned or otherwise martyred for saying it was round.

In correct the Vatican killed people for deviating from catholic belief, it's what caused the reformation. All though it was only an example. You could say the same about humanity prior to flight, or electricity, or democracy, or any change in the already established reality that humanity has built.

How is what I proposed any more evil then imprisonment or death? I'm not proposing we take reproductive rights away from innocence only that we take it away from criminals that commit felonies. It is evil when it becomes systematic genocide of a particular race. Which Is not my aim at all, infact I believe every race is capable of creating brilliant human beings, I love history I love historical figures, great men from all over the world helped humanity get to where it is today. I just want to clear some of the congestion out of the way so more people like them can get to where they need to, in order to impact society.

There's no shortage of people willing to go to any lengths to institute their brand of change, whether that be eugenicists, religious fundamentalists, or Marxists. And there's literally no end to the list of horrors committed by people who wanted to fit society to their utopian vision.

But what exactly makes this version of society any better then the previous ones? It's the same shit, a few generals, senators, kings, emperors, popes, ceos, ar the top raking in profit and increasing in power while the rest of the world slowly dies of decay and disease. I love humanity and iv watched it devolve greatly in the past decade, people are so cought up in consumerism and selfishness that they have forgotten how to take responsibility and to respect one another. The worst part is, this was designed to be this way, therefor no signifigant force out side the whims of a few elite groups can usher in change when people begin to suffer. In the past these people could only get away with so much before they where ousted, now people get to pretend to vote on decisions they really have no control over, but give them facebook and pop culture while pretending to give them liberty and they remain compliant. We have never in our history Been so minipulated as we are today, and I fear when you and others relise this it will be to late. Your in a pot set to boil but you don't mind the heat do you? Well for what it's worth I feel similarly about neoliberalism and also seek a better way. I won't offer solutions because this is a thread about the Las Vegas shooting. Apologies if you took my response as an attack; I'm going to call out bad history (conflict thesis) and bad ideology (eugenics) where I see it, nothing personal.

There was 1 shooter despite how many calls were placed. Yes, on the police scanner we had many calls and reports of shots fired, hell someone even said there was a guy with a long rifle entering the Bellagio. However that was false. One report intrigued me that there was a shooter in the parking lot, but as cameras from across Koval "Street near the event" Indicated there was no such thing. Believe me I live here and people will argue with me that it's fake, or there were multiple shooters. You guys are just looking to fuel fire. "Oh there wasnt enough blood" Okay combat veteran. "Not enough Shell casings" Yea cause obviously in a gun thats modified to shoot automatic the shell wont fly back into the hotel room, his barrel was out of the window, the casings you did see was from the modified rifle that had a tripod attachment. Anyways, you can believe it was fake, but it wasnt.

As for gun control, I am a far right conservative. But I don't believe Bumpstocks should be a thing. No reason for the public to have the ability to have a gun the Army uses in wars. AR-15 and things of that nature unmodified besides a scope is fine, pistols are fine idc. But Idk if im republican, I do believe the public shouldnt have the ability to modify a gun to fire automatically.
