Downloadable Map Editor

Hello.
I would like to present you with an idea that I have been thinking about for days.

As a programmer who likes freedom when creating things, I find the Map Editor very restricting. So, I came up with an idea.
What if (WHAT IF.....) there was a downloadable Map Editor that allowed you to script in the game.
Now, just think about the ideas that would open up.
First, it would attract a WHOLE new crowd to this game. Programmers/Coders/Scripters will pour into this game, just hoping to be the best.
Second, it would give people another GREAT reason to buy Premium, just so they can make a good game.
Third, just ponder on what you could do if it was an open scripting environment.
- Such as, making the NPC's expand. Make them attack you, attempt to take you over with their 3 whole milita. It would present a whole new challenge and sense of success to the players.
- When players come up with ideas, they'll actually be able to present a example of their idea. That way, people will actual good ideas will actually be given a chance.
- Amok, if you decide to do a new update and you inform the community, you'll probably see the idea you originally had, but better.

Now, for those of you who think 'ER ME GERD PPL WILL H4X AND RUIN DA GAIM'
Well, a certain game on the internet allows you to download a client and design the game you want, then upload it to a site. Once they upload it, the file (game, map, etc) goes through an intense virus scan and looks for inappropriate sayings or pictures. That would be easy to develop for this site.

Not really. Amok could easily do it:
Create a Scripting Box, enable it in-game.
-Connect the Dots (which means set it up within the engine)
Set some restrictions

Hmm, although complicated, it looks like a cool idea. I think you will also reach another group of poeple with this.

LOL at "Amok could easily do it". The amount of work on creating API for the game and allowing people to write own scripts is ridiculous, and we're not going to do it, sorry.

Hugo is a mod actually. Now your idea is intresting, but seems really hard.
