Deleting Units

A simple suggestion but one with far reaching consequences for the game: I have been in situations in which I either no longer required a unit or no longer wanted to pay SP's for the unit. It would be nice if I were able to delete these units once they are no longer needed.

Do you mean like having the ability to have units be disbanded?

Has been discussed previously. Couldn't find it.
Is an interesting idea that would change the game quite a lot.

It sounds interesting but... wouldn't that involve paying some sort of bill to make the soldiers disband??

I suppose you could have a cost to disband the unit (or not), either way it would decrease the cost of maintain your units. I have had situations in which I can't build units that I need because all of my SP's are being used by existing units, some of which I don't need at all...

This would be nice so you could develop a bank and pay for troops elsewhere.
