25.08.2015 - 10:44 Hey all, today we - Konstruktor & I - are releasing the map( scenario) Wheel of War! The map has been in the works for around 3 months now, and we think it's time... to RELEASE!! So, without further ado, we present to you the Wheel of War! ( more on it below ) ______________________ GAMEPLAY The map has 8 starting positions - or - castles. Each castle costs the same to buy and provides the players with equal opportunity to win, or to lose. We based the naming of countries( map editor jargon) on a name generator. Meanwhile for cities we took a different approach - we asked players "Who are the 5 players whose names you'd want to see on the map?" ( themselves excluded) Here's an illustration of that fact: Of course, automatically the player we asked got his/ her name on the map. ____________ UNITS Below you see the units - ancient ones. Instead of making players adapt to some new, unheard-of units, we decided we should use existing ones, for player comfort and easy adaption of the map. Regarding units, we will actually be releasing a second Wheel of War, but with modern units! Amazing map! It has the same concept with a multiplayer map of Age of Empires named Colosseum. I am glad it is a ffa. This map can be easily be modified to play with various units. I am sure we will see a lot of games with the Wheel! Great work!

How to design a map.... great job e mare & team... cant wait to try it out edit... looks good for clan war too hence why i think u could maybe release a version with standard units too set in team game mode This could really help to diversify the clan war system Maybe a version to hold the middle would be cool

I tried it while it was still un-published. Its a fair game. The cost for each unit is acceptable when compared to the funds you make per turn from your starting castle. Unlike many games, this map has the necessary implements to have a fair game. So fair, I see it being used for CW as Sun Tzu suggest. Good Job E-mare.

Ok I have hosted and played it. And this is my first impressions: 1. In middle ground between Main castle and Center castle, obstacles are not clear. 2. Small fort in front Main Castle that is protected by 2 neutral cities - Those cities can be passed so Fort can be directly attacked I don't know if that is intended? 3. I am satisfied with overall balance. 4. I am impressed with map design. Map look nice and keep player focused on gameplay .
