Finding Serious Players?

Alright, so you all know those players that somehow find enjoyment in playing a few turns, then disconnecting, or going afk in the middle of match and holding the whole thing up for what few people are actually playing, and there's always the hosts that go afk after making a lobby, those are always fun as well. Anyways, what I want to know is where I should look to actually find people who want to enjoy the game, and play the whole match. There's maybe one per game who actually wants to play.. Should I look into joining a 'coalition' (based on my level I'm not even sure I'm eligible)? Or is this just because I am stuck to the beginners lobby because of my level? Does it get better in the main lobby? Anyways, I hope you guys get what I am asking and can provide some guidance as to where I can find people to play with, so that I may get better and actually enjoy it. Thanks in advance!

Get a cln and play teamgames, they never troll.

Yes, join a clan. For a short while, there was even the Serious Clan. Would have been perfect for you!

I love seeing topics like these. It gives me hope in the future for atwar. You are looking to be a better player and want to play with people who actually want to progress and get better too! Joining a clan can help but also just meeting new friends/people in general who like the same games you do can frequently play with eachother!
